Terms and Conditions
Effective 20 October 2026
1. Introduction
Safentity.in is operated by Safentity. We supply industrial safety equipment, personal protective equipment (PPE), fire safety products, first aid supplies, lockout tagout (LOTO) equipment, eyewash units, fall protection equipment and related workplace safety products.
These terms cover your use of the website and your purchases through it. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to them and to applicable law. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
2. Products and information
We make reasonable efforts to show accurate descriptions, photos, specifications, availability and prices. Photos are for illustration unless stated otherwise, and the actual product may differ in appearance, packaging or configuration.
Specifications, materials, sizes, certifications, warranties and country of origin can vary by manufacturer and model. Check the product listing and the manufacturer's documentation. We will not knowingly present an unverified certification or specification as confirmed.
Select and use safety products according to the manufacturer's instructions and your workplace safety requirements. You are responsible for checking that a product suits your application.
3. Prices and taxes
Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are shown before GST. GST is added at checkout or in the quotation at the rate that applies to each product under its classification.
Delivery and any other charges are shown before you complete the order. Bulk, institutional and business orders may be priced separately in writing.
We may correct genuine pricing or listing errors, subject to applicable law. If an error materially affects an order, we contact you rather than quietly changing the agreed price.
4. Orders and acceptance
Placing an order is a request to buy. An automatic order acknowledgement does not by itself mean we have accepted the order. An order may need confirmation of payment, stock or delivery details.
If we can't fulfil an order, we tell you and refund any amount received. We may decline or cancel an order where the law allows, for example for suspected fraud, a pricing error, stock that is unavailable or an address we can't deliver to. We won't use this to avoid obligations under an order we have accepted.
5. Payments
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout or agreed in a written quotation: UPI, debit and credit cards and net banking through our payment gateway, and bank transfer for business orders by arrangement. Third-party payment providers may apply their own terms and security checks.
Credit terms, cash on delivery and other deferred payment are not offered unless Safentity confirms them in writing. An order may stay unprocessed until payment is received or verified.
6. Shipping and delivery
We aim to dispatch orders within the timelines communicated on the website, at checkout or in the quotation. Delivery estimates are indicative and can be affected by stock, courier operations, location, weather, holidays and other things outside our control. Our shipping policy has the details.
Please give accurate delivery details and make sure someone can receive the shipment. We tell you about any extra charge caused by a wrong address, a failed delivery or a requested reshipment.
Inspect products promptly and report visible damage, missing items or wrong deliveries as soon as you can, with photos or other evidence. Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies you have under applicable law.
7. Returns, replacements and refunds
Our returns and refund policy is part of these terms. In short, we replace or refund products that are defective, damaged in transit, incomplete or wrongly supplied, when reported within 3 days of delivery with reasonable evidence such as photos or an unboxing video.
Where an issue is verified as our responsibility, we arrange the resolution and the return shipping. Approved refunds go to the original payment method where the provider supports it, or by another lawful method agreed with you. Nothing in this section excludes mandatory consumer rights.
8. Warranty and manufacturer support
A manufacturer's warranty applies only where it is stated for the product or confirmed in its documentation. Coverage, duration, exclusions and claims depend on the manufacturer. Not every product has a warranty.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation, inspection, maintenance, storage and use. Damage from misuse, modification, improper installation, neglect or use against those instructions may fall outside the warranty, subject to its terms and the law.
9. Safety-critical products
Respirators, fall arrest equipment, firefighting equipment, eyewash units and other protective equipment must be used only for their intended purpose and as the manufacturer instructs.
You are responsible for assessing workplace hazards, choosing suitable equipment, checking fit and compatibility, training users and carrying out inspection and maintenance. A listing or a sale by Safentity does not replace a professional safety or risk assessment, training or your compliance obligations.
We make certification or compliance claims only where product documentation supports them. If you need certificates or test reports, ask us before ordering.
10. Bulk and business orders
Bulk prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, specifications and other conditions may be set out in a separate quotation or purchase order. Where a written quotation or accepted purchase order sets specific terms, those terms apply to the extent they are consistent with the law and these terms.
Get written confirmation of any special requirement, including model, quantity, packaging, specifications, certificates, delivery deadlines and warranty.
11. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the website's content, layout, branding, graphics and text are owned by Safentity or used with permission. Third-party names, trademarks, logos, product photos and manufacturer materials belong to their owners and are used to identify products or give product information.
You may not reproduce, distribute or commercially use our content without permission, except as the law allows.
12. Website use
Don't misuse the website: no unauthorised access attempts, interference with its operation, fraudulent orders, malicious code or unlawful use. We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, our customers or our business, subject to the law.
13. Third-party services and links
The website uses third-party services for payments, delivery, sign-in, communications and hosting. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply. Safentity is not responsible for independent third-party content or services beyond what the law requires.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law permits, Safentity is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using the website or a product. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your consumer rights and remedies.

How we collect and use personal information is explained in our privacy policy.
