Description
The Karam PN 56 Rhino is a padded full body harness for work at height: scaffolding, towers, tank tops, structural steel and rope access. A full body harness spreads the load of a fall across the thighs, pelvis and shoulders, which a simple waist belt cannot do.
It has five attachment points. The dorsal ring on the back and the sternal ring on the chest are for fall arrest. The ventral ring at the waist is for rope access and rescue, and the two lateral rings on the sides of the waist belt are for work positioning. The shoulders, waist belt and leg loops are padded, and the shoulder, chest, waist and leg straps all adjust.
A harness is one part of a fall arrest system. Use it with a suitable lanyard or retractable fall arrester and a rated anchor point. Inspect the webbing, stitching and buckles before each use, and take the harness out of service after it has arrested a fall.
